“time teddy” explores how each day is broken up into segments of time for different activities and actions. Each limb of the teddy is labeled with digitally embroidered text and ribbons. The body parts of the time teddy are all different lengths, and how long each limb is correlates to the amount of time spent per day on its labeled activity.
The time teddy’s heart is the key, bearing percentages of time in a day for each activity.
time teddy is a visual and physical reminder of how the artist themself spends their time, and how finite the time we all have really is; So finite it can be held tightly in our arms.
